This tutorial will take you step-by-step through the process of using the component on your NetObjects Fusion site. This tutorial is divided into several sections:
The first step in using Cascadia on your site is to enable the publish component. Without the publish component, Cascadia isn't able to insert the HTML and javascript code throughout the published page which it requires. To do this, first go into publish view by clicking the "Publish" icon in the toolbar:
![]() |
Then, once in publish view, select the "Publish components..." option from the Publish menu:
![]() |
When the list of publish components comes up, make sure "BitMotion Cascadia Menu" is checked, as shown below:
![]() |
This enabled the publish component so that Cascadia can automatically build in the javascript code necessary to generate the menus. The next step is to go back to page view and show the component toolbar. Once in page view, display the BitMotion Components toolbar by selecting the menu option as shown below:
![]() |
This will display the BitMotion Components toolbar inside Fusion. Depending on which BitMotion components you have installed, it will look similate to the image below:
Cascadia is the second icon shown – appearing similar to a cascading menu. ;-) When you roll your mouse over it, the tooltip will display Cascadia Menu so that you know it's the correct one.
Now you're ready to start using the component to design menus.
